This is it we are on our way leaving Oz first stop Dubai. This trip was planned for 2015 but Hubby collapsed due to an undetected hole in his heart 3cms, and then many medical mishaps along the way means it is only now we are embarking on a long trip. Previous cycling trips have only been up to 4 weeks in Europe.
This trip is planned along the Rhine and lots of tributaries such as the Moselle and Neckar hopefully not to hilly in deference to Hubbys stretched heart.
Hubby has chosen a Giant Tough Road for this trip which is packed in a large bike box. First hurdle will be trying to get the bike box to a hotelfor a stopover in Dubai, breaking the journey we decided was a good choice for the heart but maybe not such a good choice for luggage, 60kgs of it!!
