Dear blog i am knackered so a quick update.test day on bike went well.2 bikes just fitted in station wagon and were successfully transported to harwich port wherecwe met 5 other intrepid cyclists 2 off on a world trip more than fully laden.check out liz_dodds blog!our efforts look tame.

Slept well on ferry and no awful announcements keeping you awake. Leaving ferry i think we may have gone wrong way although all cycle paths seem to go to rotterdam one way or another.ended up cycling past rotterdam on to kinderdijk only to be told there were no hotels there and wed have to cycle further,however les than a km down road we found this wonderful hotel only beed reopened a wek ago.phew relief70 euros a night huge bathroom with bath and views of the old heritage windmils.

So now after our first day time for bed 58kms under our belt and nearly wearing all our clothes freezing!
