We got to Deutsches Ecke where the Rhine meets the Moselle this morning.592 kms cycled all up along the Moselle.As we left Winnegan this morning reading at the Witches Fountain it said that 22 witches were executed from the small village at the height of the 1600s witch hunt…not such a nice place after all

Best part of today seeing all the fish and eel runs created at the dams on the Moselle.Of course great also to be catching up with some vegetarian food; thai for   lunch and Indian for dinner, feeling healthier already! Pleasant wandering around the sights of  Koblenz.

Train tickets booked for tomorrow to Villinger in the Black Forest Mountains where we cycle to the source of the Neckar River.We start cycling again on Sunday 2nd July.Should be another interesting train day with 3 train changes.Half the price of Switzerland and no charge for bikes on tbese trains.
