Ive said this was an easy ride but it would have been a lot harder if we hadnt been off by 8am on a Sunday morning.The cycle paths at one point near Rathen were also roads so very narrow. Cars hardly fitted on the road .We saw one elderly couple standing next to their car ,their car hanging off the road luckily not competely fallen onto the railway!!

Hubby in his element as coffee stops galore as we neared Dresden.We had one set off german middle aged male cyclists pass us with goose hats on all clucking, very funny.

As we neared Dresden plenty of cyclists out and huge meadows near the Elbe, very beautiful.Easy entering Dresden from the Elbe but more of the dreaded cobble stones to shake the teeth out.

We found our appartments easily very handy for the city, local graffiti a bit concerning and the road was being dug up!!

2 appartments booked there and the family from the Uk arrived without any hitches that evening.

Plenty of good restaurants around, very reasonable.
