Problem/Hitch No 1

The lockups in London where our bikes are stored, not great I know no heating etc , have been broken into . Are our bikes still there??No one can  tell us.

Problem/Hitch No 2

We’re not using the HUB bikeshop again. My bike service was  fantastic but hubby had no brakes ? air or oil on the discs meant for a harrowing trip for him. The other nearby recommended bike shop doesn’t open on Mondays so we are using a bike shop that doesn’t take bookings….

Problem/Hitch No3

To get to the start of the Donau /Danube in Donauschingen we are using Eurostar to Paris and the yellow vests are still causing havoc in the streets. We are opting to just stay one night and hope that is enough if the bikes are delayed. We’ll take a train going East from Gare de l”est and plan to get to the Rhine to follow it across to Freiburg and then its a short train ride to Donauschingen. Our start date is April 13th no its not a Friday so we should be ok, we are being joined by an old school friend of hubbys.. does he realise we do go very slowly..
